This Waltham Pocket Watch has a stem wound and lever set movement and is a size 16 measuring 2 inches in diameter the most popular of sizes. This fine Waltham has the rare Up Down Wind Indicator showing just how much mainspring has been used on that wind. The purpose of showing how much wind was left on the mainspring is to not accidentally run out of wind while in service on the railroad causing a potentially fatal accident.
