The Waltham Dress Dial is referred to as a Porcelain Single Sunk Dial and is in excellent condition. The single sunk dial has the Waltham logo with classic Roman Numerals and every 5 minute marker highlighted in red. Then we have a sunken sub register for the second hand. These fine dials are made using many layers of baked Silica giving the dials that deep rich Porcelain finish. This fine dial is highlighted by the original delicate Blue Spade Hands. This fine Waltham Hunter Case Pocket Watch is in excellent condition and shows beautifully.
This Waltham Movement is a Model 1899 and referred to as a Hunter ¾ Plate Movement. The Nickel Silver Movement is in excellent condition without reckless jewelers marks or corrosion. This fine timepiece has 17 fine Ruby Jewels and the beautiful antique damasking on the Nickel Silver Plates. This fine movement is also designed with Screw Jewel Settings, Gold Center Wheel, Patent Regulator, Brequet Hairspring, micro regulator and is adjusted to 3 positions and heat and cold, all designed for an extremely accurate pocket watch. This fine movement is housed this beautifully engraved Philadelphia Case Company Hunter Case. This popular 14K Gold Fill Case has a deer engraved with a beautiful Sunburst design on one side and the other has the same Sunburst design with the cartouche, still not personalized, a nice find. This truly classic antique Waltham Pocket Watch is sure to be appreciated for many generations to come.
