The three Studebaker Brothers in South Bend, Indiana owned the Studebaker Automobile Company known for their innovative designed automobiles also owned the South Bend Watch Company. They applied the same innovative approach to their pocket watches and as with they're automobiles and the South Bend Watch Co. have developed a large collector market for these fine timepieces manufactured in relatively low numbers. The This South Bend Grade 429 Movement is housed is this beautiful White Gold Fill Wadsworth Case. This all original South Bend is faced with a pin stripe design dress dial and highlighted with unique beautifully blued steel hands. This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.
