Westclox Pocket Watch the Conductor with Train Engraved on Back and Original Chain with Display Stand Included circa 1970s
We are pleased to offer for your consideration this Westclox Pocket Watch model the Conductor circa 1970s. The Western Clock Manufacturing Company made their first pocket watch in 1899 and continued to make affordable pocket watches through the 1970s. The Westclox Pocket Watches were originally sold for $1.00 and from the 40's through the 1970s and more people were carrying Westclox's than any other pocket watch. This line of Westclox Pocket Watches was advertised to be accurate within 3 minutes a day and would hold a wind for 30 hours. This Westclox Conductor Pocket Watch is in excellent condition and tracking as advertised. Although they were not designed to be as accurate as a jeweled pocket watch, this was a significant innovation in its day, an affordable mechanical pocket watch that most everyone could afford. Also included is a high quality Acrylic Display Stand pictured, high quality Gift Box and Pocket Watch Pouch. Given they are not repairable I cannot offer a repair warranty.
