This high-grade 992B Movement is housed in a beautiful Hamilton Model A Yellow Gold Fill Case. An excellent example of the most desired configuration with this pristine Hamilton Single Sunk Railroad Boxcar Dial, Yellow Gold Fill Hamilton Model A Case, 992B Lever Set Movement highlighted by the original pristine Black Steel Spade / Whip Railroad Hands. The Hamilton Model A Case was first seen advertised by Hamilton in 1940 and is one of Hamilton's most classic railroad pocket watch cases manufactured. The Hamilton Pocket Watch Grade 992B was first introduced in 1940 and was the pinnacle and the last Hamilton Railroad Model Pocket Watch introduced. Production started in 1940 and was the last off the production line in 1969 with a total production of 685,300 over 29 years in 31 production runs. Truly an heirloom timepiece with a strong position in both American and Horologic History.
