The Collectors Pocket Watch This Rare Hamilton Pocket Watch Grade 996 Housed in a Beautiful Display Case circa 1917
Folks we are pleased to offer for your consideration one of finest and most elusive of Hamilton Pocket Watches this Hamilton Grade 996 Railroad Pocket Watch. This movement has one of the most ornate and beautifully damasked nickel plate movements Hamilton manufactured, without question. The total Hamilton 996′s manufactured were only 23,500 in total between 1915 -1927, a relatively low number over many years keeping demand high for this fine pocket watch. The movement is housed is a White Gold Fill Skeleton or Clear Glass Back Display Case, the prefect case to display this fine movement. This Hamilton Pocket Watch is a wonderful configuration with the Grade 996 Movement, ornate Montgomery Dial, Skelton Display Case highlighted with the original Blued Steel Spade/Whip Railroad Hands; like few other pocket watches in quality, craftsmanship and accuracy. Many are not aware of the Grade 996 due to the extreme low production numbers and very few hitting the open market. A truly an heirloom timepiece, sure top be appreciated for generation to come. This is another excellent example of the of the late 18th early 19th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a world wide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.
