Railroad Grade Burlington Pocket Watch High Grade 21 Jewel Movement Housed in this Beautiful 10K Gold Fill Case circa 1923
We pleased to offer for your consideration in this antique pocket watch manufactured by the Burlington Watch Company circa 1923. The Burlington Watch Co. was the mail order division of the Illinois Watch Company and known for producing beautiful high-grade pocket watches. This railroad grade pocket watch is size 16 measuring 2 inches in diameter the most popular of sizes. This Burlington has a wonderful configuration with 21 Jewel lever set movement, original Philadelphia Case Company Case, double sunk porcelain dial and highlighted with beautifully heat treat blued steel Breguet Moon style hands. This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for beauty and accuracy in timekeeping. This Antique Pocket Watch has been cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy. This entails a complete disassembly and all parts cleaned and reassembled using the finest watch oil and gear grease.
