We are pleased to offer for your consideration this truly fine South Bend Pocket Watch Grade 411 circa 1925. The three Studebaker Brothers out of South Bend, Indiana owned the Studebaker Automobile Company and were known for their innovative automobiles. They also owned the South Bend Watch Company and applied the same innovative approach to their pocket watches as with their automobiles. The South Bend Watch was very popular and considered a higher end offering in the day. A large collector market has developed for these fine pocket watches as with their automobiles. The Gentlemen's Dress Pocket Watch of the Day was manufactured to the highest of standards and this South Bend Pocket Watch is an excellent example. The South Bend Grade 411 Movement is housed is this stunning 14K White Gold Fill Wadsworth Case and faced with this pristine Art Deco Motif Dial with the raised gold numerals and ornate Deco design. This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping. All Antique and Vintage Pocket Watches are cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy and warranted for one year from the date of purchase.
