The three Studebaker Brothers out of South Bend, Indiana owned the Studebaker Automobile Company and were known for their innovative automobiles. They also owned the South Bend Watch Company and applied the same innovative approach to their pocket watches as with their automobiles. The South Bend Watch was very popular and considered a higher end offering in the day. A large collector market has developed for these fine pocket watches as with their automobiles.
