Pristine Illinois Pocket Watch Bunn Special Faced with the Heavy Gothic Dial and Housed in this Fine Silverode Case circa 1903
We are pleased to offer for your consideration this antique Illinois Bunn Special Pocket Watch circa 1903. This Illinois Bunn Special was the top of the line Railroad Pocket Watch of the day and manufactured to the highest of standards. This 21 Jewel Bunn Special is a size 18 measuring 2 ¼ inches in diameter; the classic Lever Set Railroad Grade Pocket Watch of the day. This Grade Bunn was manufactured from 1893 through 1923, a very popular high-grade movement. This Illinois Bunn Special is referred to as a full plate movement and is in pristine condition without reckless jewelers tool marks or corrosion. This fine movement has the desired "Fish Scale" damasking pattern and highlighted with black Enamel lettering. This fine Bunn is faced with this Double Sunk Porcelain Dial highlighted with the rare and highly desired Heavy Gothic motif font. This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for beauty and accuracy in timekeeping. All Antique and Vintage Pocket Watches are cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy. This pocket watch is fully warrantied for one full year from the date of purchase.
