Total production was only 51,300 over ten years, 1914 through 1924. This is a pristine 17 jewel stem set and stem wound movement has the desired antique Sunburst damasking. The Grade 956 is a size 16 measuring 2 inches in diameter the most popular of size pocket watch. This truly fine movement is housed in a beautiful National American Watch Case Company 10K Yellow Gold Fill Case. This Hamilton Dress Dial is in excellent condition without flaws and is referred to as single sunk dial. We have the Hamilton logo in the center with the Arabic Breguet style numeral font. Then the dial has a recessed or sunken sub-register for the second hand. This dial is referred to as a Single Sunk Dial that is having a sunken sub chapter for the second hand. Baking many layers of Silica onto two Copper plates gives the dial the deep rich glass /porcelain finish. Highlighted with the original beautifully Blued Steel Spade/ Spade Hands. This Hamilton Pocket Watch Grade 956 is again all original, shows beautifully and is ready for daily wear or as a wonderful addition to any collection.
