Pristine Hamilton Pocket Watch Railroad Grade 940 Housed in a Rare Glass Back Hamilton Salesman Display Case circa 1909

This fine Hamilton is housed in the desired Salesman Display Case with a glass back to display the extra fine movement. These Hamilton Display Cases were used at the turn of the century and not sold to the public; the jeweler or jobber of the day as they were referred would use them for displaying these fine movements for sale, without getting dirt or debris in the movement. These clear back display cases are a favorite with Pocket Watch Collectors and this is an excellent example with the old Hamilton Script on the top of each bezel. We have a classic configuration with the antique Hamilton Grade 940 21 Jewel Movement, Double Sunk Hamilton Dial housed in the Salesman Display Case all in pristine condition.
