The Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch Pocket of the day was manufactured to the highest of standards and we have an excellent example with this wonderful configuration; Elgin Grade 315 Movement, pristine dress dial, original ornate gold finished hands and housed in this fine Rose Gold Fill Case. The Elgin Grade 315 Movement is stem wound and stem set and a size 12 measuring 1¾ inch in diameter. The Size 12 Dress Pocket Watch was a symbol of prestige and status and again manufactured to the highest standards. This all-original Elgin Pocket Watch is truly a rare find in such fine condition.
This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.

This pristine Elgin Dial is referred to as a Double Sunk Dress Dial. We have the stylized raised gold Arabic numerals around the outer chapter with the “Railroad Track” design around the outer circumference. Then we have the sunken center chapter with the beautifully embossed design of two Love Birds facing each other. The dial also has a sunken sub chapter for the second hand. This stunning dial is highlighted with the original ornate gold finished hands. This fine Elgin Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.
The fine Elgin Grade 315 Movement has 15 jewels and is stem set and stem wound. The fine movement has the desired antique damasking on the nickel plate movement. The 315 Movement also has a gold center wheel, screwed gold jewel settings. We also have a steel escapement, micro regulator and gold balance weights, all for added accuracy. This fine Elgin Dress Pocket Watch has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper.
