This fine movement is housed in a beautiful and desired Elgin/Keystone 10K Yellow Gold Fill Railroad Case, Style 3055 and named the Streamline first introduced in the early 1930's. This extra fine Railroad Grade 571 Elgin Pocket Watch is lever set and stem wound and is a size 16 and measures 2 inches in diameter the most popular of sizes. The Grade 571 is known for the Dura Power Mainspring a new alloy stronger and more flexible for added accuracy and dependability a significant enhancement. This Elgin Dial has the dp design under the Elgin Logo, the dp is for Dura Power Mainspring. This fine Elgin Railroad Pocket Watch has the highly desired configuration with the pristine Boxcar Dial, 571 Movement, pristine beautifully blued steel Railroad Spade/Whip Hands all housed in this pristine Streamliner Case. This is another excellent example of the late 19th and early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.
