Bartlett, 1883 is the classic pocket watch of the day with the Roman Numerals and the larger Size 18 measuring 2 ¼ inches in diameter. This pocket watch was manufactured before "Railroad Standards" had been established and this would have been the classic and common pocket watch used on the rails. This Lever Set, Grade 15, P.S. Bartlett was a top of the line Waltham Pocket Watch offering circa 1889. We have this classic configuration with the antique Waltham Roman Numeral Dial, P.S. Bartlett Movement highlighted with the original fine Blued Steel Spade/Spade Hands. This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.
