This Elgin Pocket Watch is a size 12 measuring 1¾ inch in diameter and is stem set and stem wound. This Elgin Grade 303 movement is housed in a beautiful and ornately engraved 14K Yellow Gold Fill Case. The Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch of the day was manufactured to the highest of standards. This all-original pristine Elgin is faced with a custom off white Elgin dial that has blue lettering and highlighted with gold hands. A stunning Elgin Pocket Watch that shows just beatifully.

This Elgin Pocket Watch is a size 12 measuring 1¾ inch in diameter and is stem set and stem wound. This Elgin Grade 303 movement is housed in a beautiful ornately engraved B & B Case Yellow Gold Fill Case. The Grade 303 is again beautifully crafted; the Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch of the day was manufactured to the highest of standards. This all-original pristine Elgin is faced with this custom off white Elgin dial with blue lettering highlighted by the custom gold hands, a unique find. I so hope the extensive pictures help tell the story of this extra fine Elgin Pocket Watch.
The Elgin Dial on this timepiece is porcelain and made of many layers of baked silica on two metal plates. The classic Elgin Dial has the popular stylized Elgin Arabic font crafted in blue, very unique. This single sunk dial has the raised outer circumference for the Arabic numerals with the Elgin logo in the center, then a recessed sub chapter for the gold second hand. This Elgin Pocket Watch Grade 303 Movement is again in just pristine condition and housed in this stunning B & B 14K Gold Fill Case. This beautiful Elgin Grade 303 has a 7 jewel movement, adjusted to 3 positions with a high-grade micro regulator, solid gold balance weights, gold jewel settings, gold center wheel and train, stem wound and stem set with a steel escapement. This fine configuration makes for a wonderful and collectable antique Elgin Pocket Watch, ready to wear.
This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.
