Hamilton Railroad Grade
Stunning Hamilton Railroad Grade 992B with Original Ivory Bakelite Box
Sometimes we're lucky enough to purchase an open faced railroad pocket watch that has it all: magnificent dial, immaculate movement, stunning case and original packaging. This 1943 Hamilton Grade 992B is just such a watch. This superb timepiece boasts the highly sought after Montgomery dial sporting the famous "blind man's" font. Its 992B movement is a perfectly preserved work of art and a precision machine, as reliable and accurate today as it was 77 years ago. The movement sits in the popular Art Deco style Model 2 Bar Over Crown case, designed to prevent owners from accidentally pulling up the crown to set the time. The icing on the horological cake: the 992B comes in its original Hamilton Bakelite presentation box. This Hamilton 992B, Model 5 is a perfect example of America's world beating watchmaking skills. Prefect for daily carry or as pride of place on your bookshelf, dressing room or desk. All our treasured timepieces are completely disassembled, expertly cleaned and oiled using the finest quality watch oil and gear grease, and adjusted for accuracy. Full one year warranty.
