Hamilton Pocket Watch Railroad Grade Lever Set 992 Housed in a Beautiful Silver Plate Skeleton Display Case circa 1920
Folks we have a very special offering for your consideration, this Hamilton Pocket Watch Railroad Grade 992 circa 1920. The Grade 992 is a size 16 and measures 2 inches in diameter the most popular of sizes. This high-grade 992 Movement is housed in the highly desired clear back Salesman Display or Skeleton Case. These fine movements are beautifully crafted and the display cases remain a favorite with collectors to display these fine movements. The display cases were not sold to the public; the turn of the century jewelers used these cases to display the fine movements for sale without getting dirt or debris in the movement. We have an excellent example with a most desired configuration; the pristine Hamilton Railroad Lever Set Grade 992 Movement, Skelton Display Case, Montgomery Railroad Dial highlighted with the pristine Blued Steel Spade/Spade Railroad Hands. This Hamilton Pocket Watch is in just excellent condition. I so hope the many pictures and extreme magnification help tell the story of this extra fine. This is an example of ingenuity that made the late 19th early 20th Century American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping. All Antique and Vintage Pocket Watches are cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy and Warranted for 1 Full Year from date of purchase.
