Folks we have a very special offering for your consideration in this Hamilton 992E circa 1935 one of the most collected of Railroad Pocket Watches. The E designation of the 992E is for the Elivnar Hairspring a new developed alloy for added strength and durability. The 992E replaced the 992 and was first introduced in 1930 with a total production of only 63,300 in 9 production runs from 1930 through 1940. The limited production 992E over 10 years adding to the collector interest in this high-grade top of the line Hamilton Pocket Watch. We have a wonderful configuration with the 992E Movement, classic Boxcar Dial, Wadsworth 10K GF Bar Over Crown Case highlighted with the original Blued Steel Spade Whip Railroad Hands. This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.
