The 21 Jewel Hamilton Grade 992 is one of the most popular and collected of all Railroad Pocket Watches. The Grade 992 was introduced in 1903 and was produced through 1931 with a total production of 545,900 over 28 years and earned the Hamilton Watch Company the reputation as the "Railroad Timekeeper of America". This fine Hamilton Railroad Grade Movement is housed is a beautiful White Gold Filled Emperor Case Company Case and faced with the classic Heavy Gothic Dial and beautifully Blued Steel Spade Whip Hands. Truly the classic Railroad Pocket Watch of the day circa 1919. The pictures shows the back of the case with black this is the etchings reflection only, this is only in the photograph. This is another example of the ingenuity that made the late 19th early 20th Century American Pocket Watch the worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.
