We are pleased to offer for your consideration this Hamilton Pocket Watch Grade 916 circa 1925. We have the Gentlemen’s Pocket Dress Pocket Watch of the day manufacture in the classic Art Deco Motif. This Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch was a symbol of prestige and status and manufactured to the highest of standards. We have an excellent example in this Grade 916 size 12 measuring 1¾ inch in diameter. The Hamilton Grade 916 is cased and timed by Hamilton in this beautiful 14K White Gold Fill Hamilton Case. We have a wonderful configuration with the Hamilton Grade 916 Movement, 14K White Gold Fill Case, Art Deco Motif Dial and highlighted with the heat-treated beautifully blued Steel Gothic style hands. I so hope the many pictures and extreme magnification helps tell the story of this truly fine Hamilton Dress Pocket Watch of the day.

This fine Hamilton Grade 916 Movement is in excellent condition without reckless jewelers tool marks or corrosion. This fine movement has 17 jewels and is stem set and stem wound. We also have narrow Tuxedo Stripe damasking pattern on the Nickel Silver ¾ Plate Movement with the lettering highlighted in gold. The 916 Movement also has a gold center wheel and with flush gold screw jewel settings, adjusted to 3 positions, steel escapement, micro regulator and gold balance weights all designed for added accuracy and dependability. This Hamilton 916 Pocket Watch has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper and ready for daily wear or as a wonderful addition to any collection.

This Hamilton Grade 916 is faced with this Art Deco Motif Metal Dial. The metal dial does show patina and this is the only issue with this pocket watch. This fine timepiece is highlighted with the classic and original heat-treated blued Steel Gothic style hands. This ornately designed Hamilton is beautifully stylized yet we do have patina on the dial and a monogram on the case back. This monogram is beautifully engraved and the initial’s read MWP. The middle initial is the last name in this old school style monogram. This fine Hamilton Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.

This is another excellent example of the late 19th and early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for beauty and accuracy in timekeeping.

This Hamilton Pocket Watch has just been completely serviced. That is Cleaned, Oiled and Adjusted for accuracy. This entails a complete disassembly and all parts cleaned and reassembled using the finest watch oil and gear grease.
