This Illinois Bunn Special was the top of the line Railroad Pocket Watch of the day and manufactured to the highest of standards. This 21 Jewel Bunn Special is a size 18 measuring 2 ¼ inches in diameter; the classic lever set Railroad Grade Pocket Watch of the day. This model Bunn was manufactured from 1893 through 1923, a very, very popular movement. This Illinois Bunn Special is referred to as a full plate movement and is in pristine condition without reckless jewelers tool marks or corrosion. This fine Bunn is faced with a mint porcelain dial highlighted with the rare and highly desired Heavy Gothic motif. This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for beauty and accuracy in timekeeping.
