We are pleased to offer for your consideration this Art Deco motif Elgin Pocket Watch circa 1923. This Gentlemen’s Dress Pocket Watch Pocket of the day is a size 12 and measures 1 ¾ inch in diameter. This size 12 Dress Pocket Watch was a symbol of prestige and status and manufactured to the highest standards. We have an excellent example with this wonderful configuration; Elgin Grade 303 Movement, pristine porcelain dial, custom Blued Steel Hands and the desired Two Tone Case. The Grade 303 Movement is stem wound and stem set. This all original Art Deco Elgin Pocket Watch is a wonderful find. This Elgin Dress Dial is in pristine bright white and highlighted with these beautifully blued Steel Breguet Hands. This fine porcelain dial is referred to as single sunk. These fine dial are made using two Copper Plates soldered together and baked with many layers of Silica giving this dial that deep rich porcelain finish. Then we have the stylized Arabic numerals around the outer circumference with a recessed sub-chapter for the second hand. This fine dial is highlighted with the classic and original Blued Steel Breguet Moon Hands. This Elgin Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.

This fine Elgin Grade 303 Movement has 7 jewels and is stem set and stem wound. The fine movement has the ornate antique damasking on the nickel plates. The 303 Movement also has a gold center wheel, micro regulator, gold balance weights, gold jewel settings with a steel escapement all designed for added accuracy. This Elgin Grade 303 Pocket Watch has just been serviced and is again sure to be appreciated for generations to come.

This Elgin Pocket Watch has just been cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy. This entails a complete disassembly with all parts cleaned and reassembled using the finest watch oil and gear grease.
