Elgin Pocket Watch Railroad Grade B.W. Raymond
Elgin named the "B.W. Raymond" pocket watch after Benjamin Wright Raymond, the company's founder. For 100 years, Elgin reserve the designation for their high-end movements. This pristine size 16 Railroad Grade 478 Model BW Raymond pocket watch is an immaculate example of its type. Produced c. 1928, this pocket watch features Elgin's "Boxcar" Railroad Dial's classic bold and legible Arabic font numerals. The handsome seconds sub dial – sunk into the dial – marks the time in 10 second increments. The custom heat-treated blued steel hands complete an endlessly elegant, legible and precise design. The movement's housed inside this desired Star Watch Case Company case. The lever set movement boasts 21 large fine Ruby Jewels, a double roller, safety pinion, high-grade micro regulator and gold balance weights with flush jewel settings and a gold center wheel and train. An unimpeachable choice. All our treasured timepieces are completely disassembled, expertly cleaned and oiled using the finest quality watch oil and gear grease, adjusted for accuracy. Full one year warranty.
