This Tiffany movement is housed in this Gun Metal Case measuring 1 ¾ inches in diameter. This pocket watch shows years of appreciation as the finish is worn off the outer case, yet still in excellent condition. This Tiffany Dial is beautifully finished and in excellent condition. This fine dial has black Roman numerals and highlighted with the original Blued Steel “Breguet or Moon” hands. This fine dial is referred to as single sunk and is made using two Copper Plates soldered together. The Cooper Plates are then baked with many layers of Silica giving the dial the deep rich porcelain finish. Then the numbers were hand screened and then baked again with clear Silica. This fine dial is highlighted with the original heat-treated Blued Steel hands referred as “Breguet” or “Open Moon” hands. This fine Tiffany Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come.
This is a fine Tiffany Pocket Watch has a 11 Jewel movement and is stem set and stem wound. Tiffany did not manufacture their own movements, they contracted these out. This fine movement has a steel escapement, high grade Micrometer regulator and gold balance weights all designed for added accuracy and dependability. This fine Tiffany Pocket Watch has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper as designed.
