This all original pocket watch is stem set and stem wound. This size 12 dress pocket watch was a symbol of prestige and status and manufactured to the highest standards. We have an excellent example with this wonderful configuration; Illinois Grade 405 movement, Art Deco motif dial, custom blued steel Cathedral hands and housed in this beautiful North American Case Company (NACCO) 10K Gold Fill Case. This is an excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American pocket watch a worldwide standard for beauty and accuracy in timekeeping. This Illinois Pocket Watch has just been cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy. This entails a complete disassembly, all parts cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, and reassembled using the finest watch oil and gear grease. This antique Illinois Pocket Watch is warranted for one full year from the date of purchase.
