The Hamilton Grade 992 is a size 16 measuring 2 inches in diameter the most popular of sizes. This classic Hamilton Pocket Watch has the desired configuration with the ornate damasking on the antique 992 Movement very soon to be changed to the simple pin stripe damasking pattern, Hamilton Montgomery Double Sunk Dial, Yellow Gold Fill Railroad Case highlighted with beautifully heat-treated Blued Steel Spade Hands. This Hamilton 992 was used on the rails and very well maintained with many "Railroad Inspectors" markings on the inside back cover. This fine Hamilton Pocket Watch shows beautifully and is sure to be appreciated for generations to come. This is an excellent example of the ingenuity that made the late 19th early 20th Century American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping. This Antique Pocket Watch has been Cleaned, Oiled and Adjusted for accuracy. This entails a complete disassembly and all parts cleaned and reassembled using the finest watch oil and gear grease.
