This Waltham Grade Vanguard Model 1899 was produced in 1901 and remains in excellent condition. The crystal on both the front and back of the case is in excellent condition with exceptional clarity, revealing the ornate demasking of the movement on one side and a gorgeous bright white dial with heavily saturated ink numerals. The display case allows you to observe the balance wheel in motion, gears turning and the pallet fork ticking away.
