This Elgin Railroad Grade 571 Model BW Raymond is an Elgin Watch Company top of the line offering. This fine timepiece is lever set and stem wound and a size 16 measuring 2 inches in diameter, the most popular of sizes. This BW Raymond is highlighted with this pristine Elgin Montgomery Boxcar Dial; we have the dp design for the Dura-Power Mainspring. This dial also has the dp design for the Dura-Power Mainspring, a newly developed alloy, stronger and more flexible for added accuracy and dependability. We also have the desired BW Raymond in script over the Elgin logo on this dial.  For your consideration we have this pristine, all-original configuration with this BW Raymond Movement, stunning Montgomery Dial and housed in this Elgin/Star Case Company 10K Yellow Gold Fill Case, highlighted with beautifully blued Steel Spade Whip/Hands. This Elgin Railroad Dial is in excellent condition bright white with heavy ink saturation. We have the Elgin logo, dp logo design and rare in that we also have the BW Raymond script on this Montgomery Dial. Then we have the bold Arabic Elgin Railroad Boxcar font. Then we have each minute marker in Arabic numerals around the outer circumference, the height of functionality. This beautiful dial is highlighted with the original heat-treated beautifully blued Steel Spade/Whip Railroad Hands also in pristine condition. This all-original Elgin Pocket Watch is in excellent condition and shows beautifully and sure to be appreciated for generations to come.

This Elgin 571 BW Raymond Movement has the wide Shadow Line damasking and is in pristine condition without reckless jeweler’s tool marks or corrosion. This fine Elgin Grade 571 Movement has 21 Jewels and the Dura-Power Mainspring for added durability and accuracy. This high-grade movement is lever set and stem wound with a double roller, safety pinion, high-grade micro regulator and gold balance weights. We also have flush pressed jewel settings with a gold center wheel and train. This Elgin 571 Pocket Watch is also adjusted to 9 positions and temperature all designed for extreme accuracy and dependability. This Elgin has just been serviced and is an excellent timekeeper as designed.

This is another excellent example of the late 19th early 20th Century ingenuity that made the American Pocket Watch a worldwide standard for accuracy and beauty in timekeeping.

This Antique Pocket Watch has been cleaned, oiled and adjusted for accuracy. This entails a complete disassembly and all parts cleaned and reassembled using the finest watch oil and gear grease.
